Could not find an obvious way on site to ask this question so here I am

Whilst I know we have a data base to access GB Journals can we do the same for the earlier PJGB particularly 1968 onwards?

Re: Books by John Parmenter

I assume you are aware that John Parmenter revised all his Barred Numeral Cancellation books (the counties not London) during 2013?

Dry Print

Some three decades back I 'won' the attached from an Australian auction which purported to be the Lister 'missing brown tube ' variety. As I am not really a QE collector it languished for many years but recently I showed it to a London auction house who said that in their opinion it was a Dry Print ...

Theo,
Not sure how much I can add but please see the attached extract from the booklet issued by the Swiss GB and Commonwealth Soc in 1998. Interestingly it says it was struck in red wheras yours is black.

John,
Would you be kind enough to send me a scan at silver.leys@btinternet.com as at a later time the GBPS will be updating the Arundel books including spoons.
Thanks

John,
I assume you mean the first Birmingham Spoon (there were 22 varieties) and if so, Arundel quotes the issued date as 30th March 1854 and the earliest example seen as 2nd April 1854. Do you have an earlier copy?

John,
There were three '447' 1844 marks issued to Leeds without serifs. Recorded uses between June 1845 and April 1850 and relatively common

Howard,
As far as I am aware Arundel never did 'sideways duplexes'. The last serious study was Traill and Holland in 1975 and the issued and earliest dates are the same as Parmenter

Regret to advise that there are literally 100's of frame breaks on the 1d lilac issue. If you want to look further at these you need to go no further than R Lee's 1963 work 'The Penny Lilac' which was published by GBPS. He studied some 3 1/2 million copies of the stamp!!
