2 Pence Lavender tinted paper
ES16 is printed on distinctly 'thick paper', in my specimen 0.015mm thick. ES17 shows a clear 'ivory head'. In my opinion both of my specimens appear to be on 'white paper' or at least much less blued than usual.

After reading Ray Simpsons fine article in the GB Journal, I was prompted to take a look at my two specimens. A pair of plate 102 (? plated by me) have a numeral postmark 90 bracketed between six pointed stars i.e. *90* not unlike the Edinburgh cancellation of 1850 i.e. *131* with which I am quite f...
