is there an erratum to Volume 1 -16th Edition

on page 290 L118 S.G.F18 Fiscals
No1 is listed as 1d pale reddish purple
No2 is listed as 3d dull purple

a mistake ?

This may be apropos :

There are so many errors creeping into the Specialised Catalogues these days, not only of previously established facts but also typos and incorrect illustrations, that some time ago I wrote to SG suggesting they produce a catalogue of all the varieties and errors contained in their catalogues.

I am still awaiting a response . . . .

The Mulready Yahoo group maintain a file of amendments. The last update I've seen was March 2015.

With regards to the catalogue entry, correct, this should be a 1d, it will be amended when we re-do this section of the catalogue. Reply from Stanley Gibbons
