Can anyone please help identify this small inverted triangular mark on a cover of 30/11/1874 from Bushey Heath via Watford and London EC to Edgeware. I assume it’s an inspector’s mark, but hope the inscription S&H/M may mean something more to someone?

Sorry not able to help but only to add to your question:

I have several postcards with Triangular 'Inspector's Marks', with the following letters/numbers inside SE4, GE and GB8, would anyone be able to tell me more about these or where I can find more information on these marks.

I believe the S & H refers to the Suburban & Home sorting division, the SE to the South Eastern, and the GE to the Great Eastern. I don't know what the GB refers to but wonder whether it is a badly struck GE. Other sorting divisions include North Western, Midland, South Western and Great Western
