RECHROMED CYLINDERS AND THE AFFECT ON THE PRINTED SHEET

Hi - can anyone throw some light on the affect on the printed sheet by a rechromed cylinder and is there any information available that this process increases the print absorbency of the paper. Would this process then technically create a different paper from a non-rechromed cylinder - many thanks Mike
