Royal Household Mail - the Vidler Years
IntroductionThe Vidler Years, 1990 to 2002
Prior to the appointment of Adrian Vidler to the role of Court Postmaster in 1990, little had altered for decades with regards to postal arrangements for the British Royal Family and its Court. Adrian had inherited a service that was firmly rooted in the past and was consequently very expensive to run. He set about modernising mail handling and substantially lowered operating costs.
