SHOW MENUInternational Signed For Rates 2002-2014
The international version of the registered service, known as "International Recorded" from 1993, became "International Signed For" in 2002. Additional compensation for this service above the amount for normal mail was now available up to £250/£500 (depending on destination) for an extra fee, as with the airmail services introduced at the same time.
International Signed For simply offered what the name suggested - a signature on delivery, with no accelerated handling (except for being fast-tracked onto the first available plane to the destination from 2003).
