Another very good reference to long and short stamps is 'Stamp Perforation: The Somerset Years' by Ray Simpson and Peter Sargent, (page 185) which also illustrates some examples, along with many other perforation varieties, probably these are considered beyond even the scope of the SG specialised ca...
