This website is faulty

Spent half an hour leaving a new subject only to be told I was not logged in
Naturally when I did so all my message had been deleted

Why should this happen a useless webmaster?

I am sorry for you robinT. I would not say 'useless webmaster' but I would say to 'err is human its takes a computer to really foul things up.'
I find the best thing to do, as I refuse to trust anything created by data, is to highlight what you have written, then CTRL plus C and keep this copy.
I then try to transfer my masterpiece to the irresponsible bits of a useless 'puter. If it vanishes then I find 'Add your message' and do CTRL plus V and hopefully ones wonderful piece of work survives.
I hope this work reaches the ether and robinT.

It reached me but to me composing is easy, but not always polite

Thus it annoys me when my computor or the website fail to do what I have instructed. In would not really want to go to all that trouble - when it should be as easy as a conversation - and just like a conversation so much hot air to disapear the moment it finishes.
