The early overseas parcel post Warrants tended to relate to specific destinations or subjects, as with the Treasury Warrants that preceded them. The first generalised Foreign & Colonial Parcel Post Warrant dates from 1897, and subsequent Warrants mostly followed the normal pattern of being amendments to the text of the most recent Warrant, although occasionally a more specific Warrant outside of the numerical sequence was issued.
The 1900 and 1901 general Warrants were amended by subsequent Warrants later in those years, and the versions as amended were printed in the volume of Statutory Rules & Orders at the end of the year, without the individual amending Warrants being given separately. The amended versions are currently given below, but the unamended versions and individual amending Warrants will be added when tracked down!
