Pane of 22 stamps (single pane comprising five rows of five, with three stamps removed from the right hand side of the top row), with an additional pair of stamps from a different sheet. The design shows 'Hope seated' leaning on an anchor, with 'BRADBURY WILKINSON & CO' above, and 'POSTAGE ONE PENNY' below.
Three large, ornate designs, one above the pane, and two below, the upper one of which shows '5' at the centre of a rectangle, with a head on either side facing inwards, around the border is written 'CINCO PESOS' and '5' repeatedly; the lower design shows '100' in large figures across a horizontal bar, with a circular design either side, each with '100' at centre. The sheet is stamped 'STAMPS 1879 SECRETARY', with 3252 handwritten at centre.
